Clarification needed

The current article states:

"After realizing he is being used, he attempts to stop the robbery, which immediately goes awry."

This is ambiguous. What goes "awry" -- the attempt to stop the robbery, or the robbery itself? (Or both?) Karl gregory jones (talk) 22:50, 20 September 2009 (UTC)Reply
