Landing Visa

edit

I don't see how "Landing Visas are available at the Lo Wu Transit point between Hong Kong and Shenzhen. These are strictly limited 5 days and require departure from via the same location. Payment must be made in RMB, which can be obtained from ATMs and Money exchange outlets in the Lo Wu Train Station. Prices vary depending on nationality." This only pertains to Hong Kong visa and has nothing to do with ROC / Taiwan visa. Kindly edit / correct. Thanks. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 173.196.145.214 (talk) 22:56, 30 July 2014 (UTC)Reply

Ethnic Chinese

edit

I don't see any evidence that ethnicity is a deciding factor in the issuance of the permit so I removed these references, and replaced it with "PRC nationality". Specifically, I'm looking at the two definitions from

Of course, those documents never directly mention "PRC nationality", but it's not much of a logical leap to tell that this is what they're really implying by this roundabout phrasing. Thanks. cab 09:48, 18 December 2006 (UTC)Reply

Exit & Entry Permit for Mainland residents

edit

According to the lead sentence in the Chinese Wikipedia article, Mainland residents are also issued this Exit & Entry Permit when entering Taiwan. Should we mention this in the article? --Joshua Say "hi" to me!What I've done? 16:12, 12 June 2010 (UTC)Reply

Is it backed up with a reliable source that we can use? RashersTierney (talk) 16:20, 12 June 2010 (UTC)Reply
Why does it not say more clearly in the introduction or the title that this article is entirely about persons going to Taiwan who have some sort of connection to HK or Macau?--Brian Dell (talk) 09:24, 11 August 2011 (UTC)Reply

Unregistered nationals

Information should be added for the sticker taped into ROC passports belonging to nationals without household registration.--Jiang (talk) 12:47, 23 December 2011 (UTC)Reply

I uploaded this image: File:Taiwan Area Entry Permit Sticker.jpg -- that's what you're talking about, right? Cheers, Eric Baer (talk) 19:18, 23 December 2011 (UTC)Reply
