The years are messed up in this article, can someone with knowledge of the Islamic calendar fix it so it says "in 800 H (1974 CE)" for each date? Sherurcij (Speaker for the Dead) 04:57, 13 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

Hello fellow Wikipedians,

I have just added archive links to one external link on Ibn Kathir. Please take a moment to review my edit. If necessary, add {{cbignore}} after the link to keep me from modifying it. Alternatively, you can add {{nobots|deny=InternetArchiveBot}} to keep me off the page altogether. I made the following changes:

edit

How did Byzantine Empire that was confined in small area in western Anatolia and that came out of struggle just 40ish year has an Imperial border all the way to Bosra. Alexis Ivanov (talk) 22:02, 12 July 2016 (UTC)Reply

Mamluk Sultante had a foothold on Syria since 1260 C.E.
@Ibensis: I just realized something Britannica is talking about Bursa not Bosra, Bursa is in Turkey while Bosra in Syria, but this article uses the word Bosra. So Britannica is wrong in that matter, he is not born is Bursa, Turkey. Alexis Ivanov (talk)
Bursa was known to the Bzantines/Greeks as Prousa. Alexis Ivanov (talk) 22:20, 12 July 2016 (UTC)Reply
You are right, thanks for point that out. ibensis (What’s the Story?) 08:37, 13 July 2016 (UTC)Reply

"Al-Bidaya wa'l-Nihaya"

edit

This is a book, not a person. Ibn kathir is not Al-Bidaya wa'l-Nihaya, he is the author. Meaning it shouldn't redirect here.
