Hi, I have been doing some reading on the Taraf state and it is quite evident from the family trees of the Syeds of Taraf that Ibrahim was a member of this family. This family, descending from Syed Nasiruddin, were the only rulers of Taraf since 1304 up until the time of Amar Manikya. Could you please reword the section about his origin. @UserNumber: Yeah, I think he probably was a Syed of Taraf too. But we can't ignore that credible sources (like those listed in the article) have discussed him having alternative origins. Therefore, I believe it's best to keep the wording as it is. Alivardi (talk) 17:07, 2 April 2020 (UTC)Reply
