Slack waterSlack tide – This article is about the tidal phenomenon, but "slack water" has multiple meanings, notably the water behind a dam. This has led to erroneous links to this page, like on The Dalles Dam and Schuylkill and Susquehanna Navigation Company. Moving the page to "Slack tide" leaves the meaning unambiguous and would avoid future errors. "Slack water" can then be a disambiguation page. QuincyMorgan (talk) 19:08, 25 August 2023 (UTC)Reply
