I am blocked editing this page. I am writing to kindly ask that you move the page called "Sasha Waters Freyer" to "Sasha Waters."  My professional name has been "Sasha Waters" for some time now,

Below I am dropping links to several examples in which my name appears professionally as "Sasha Waters."

I would really appreciate your assistance in clearing up this matter.

Thanks, I appreciate it. I have emailed David Fuchs a couple of times asking him to unblock me and/or move the page, but have not heard back. I understand this is a collective, commons space, but I hope you understand that the issue of my name being listed properly is important to me. Sasha Waters Freyer → Sasha Waters – I have been using the name "Sasha Waters" professionally since 2022, but I am unable to MOVE this page. I understand that in the past administrators concluded I was trying to "build an encyclopedia" of some sort, however, I still disagree with that assertion. From my perspective, I was modeling my page on other feminist filmmakers of my cohort and age (and older, who I admire) such as Lynne Sachs, Irene Lusztig, Su Friedrich and more.  That said, it really is a problem for me personally to have the page name not reflect my actual professional name, Sasha Waters, which I'm sure you can understand. I was able to make this change on IMDB, for example, in about a minute. Below are links to recent pubic screenings at which I am credited as "Sasha Waters."

  Hello, I believe I have addressed this question, but I am happy to provide more information as needed. I don't believe there is any COI involved in requesting that a person's professional name be listed properly. Even though that person happens to be me, this seems like a neutral proposition.   I'll note that while the COI for User:Swaters68 is in fact disclosed at the top of this talk page, the RM request is signed as "hockeymom" - it's not obvious at first glance that the two are the same account. 162 etc. (talk) 19:13, 5 July 2024 (UTC)
