CSD G4 Nomination edit

I note that the article was deleted in 2015 at AfD largely for want of reliable secondary source coverage of the subject. I'm not seeing anything that suggests this has changed. The cited sources appear to be mostly self published and a few catalogue entries. Additionally the article has been deleted for copyright violations. The article creator has slightly altered the title in an apparent attempt to evade detection. I suggest that both the current and previous title (S. N. Sadasivan) be salted. - (talk) 22:11, 30 March 2017 (UTC)Reply

It is not an attempt to evade detection. I agree that the initial article was a direct copy of a page but I was gathering supports to expand and redit them to wikipedia standards. I had contested the speedy deletion, after throughly rewriting the artcile. But the article was deleted without a reply and I had talked to :Cabayi and you talk regarding it and user:Cabayi advised me to restart the article without copying from the primary source.

The article was created after it was created in its regional language and when a source material was searched for in en:wiki. The person in India is notable as he was a great teacher in the circles of Civil service. References are scarce in internet as he retired around 1993 and not much of

Citations have been given for the published works for which I think the catalogues and google pages are sufficient. Description given about his career is published by the publisher of one of the book and I think it stands until its authority is questioned by a third party. please review the article for its merits and don't delete it if my editing style is bad. I would try to bring in maximum external online references to substantiate the claims done in the article such as the career, citations of the books in other works if needed.Challiyan (talk) 07:22, 31 March 2017 (UTC)Reply

If you are deleting the articles on notablity issues, I would like to know the opinions of administrators or users from Kerala where the subject is from and is more notable at. The reason for lesser exposure is due to the fact that his publications are mainly used among the Civil Serivice personnels and in Public Administration training. Some of the primary sources were also deleted which was written by a third party about the subject. Those primary sources were used to highlight certain facts and not to substantiate the notability of the subject.--Challiyan (talk) 07:39, 5 April 2017 (UTC)Reply

I know that I have tagged Joseph, George Gheverghese (2003). George Joseph: The Life and Times of a Kerala Christian Nationalist. Orient Longman. ISBN 978-8-12502-495-8. for a page number but, honestly, I can't find any mention of Sadasivan in that source. I'm thinking it might be some sort of error. - Sitush (talk) 17:19, 11 April 2017 (UTC)Reply
