Suggestion edit

@Gusfriend: I suggest you start this article by adding a translation of ru:Русский фашизм that would serve as basis. What do you think?
If so, I strongly suggest using the Wikipedia:Content translation tool for this. Google translate works quite well for translations from Russian to English, although you will of course have to do some copy-editing. Source should also be checked to see whether or not they are considered as reliable according to WP en's standards. Parts not sourced by inline refs should not be added. If needed, Russian native speaker on WP can check your translation.
I appreciate your initiative of creating this draft! Veverve (talk) 09:16, 18 March 2022 (UTC)Reply

I think it would be better to use such page in EB [1]. My very best wishes (talk) 03:44, 6 April 2022 (UTC)Reply

Attribution edit

@Gusfriend: I saw that you had copied content from Red fascism and Fascist (insult). I do not know if you have copied content from other articles. As per Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia, please use Template:Copied to indicate on this talk page from where you copied your information from.
I will be moving the draft into the main space once you are done. Veverve (talk) 12:25, 6 April 2022 (UTC)Reply

I have added the copied from template. I mentioned it in the edit summaries at the time but missed out that bit. Gusfriend (talk) 12:48, 6 April 2022 (UTC)Reply

Fascism in Russia is no longer a redirect edit

Hello. I just reverted the change of Fascism in Russia into a redirect as the page is intended to cover the history of Fascism in Russia dating back over 100 years where the focus of the Rascism is much more recent and the article talks about it in a post Soviet context. The fact that there is a suggestion to merge it with Putinism also argues for a more recent focu. I apologise if you had reached consensus before replacing the page with a redirect but I didn't see anywhere and I would be happy for you to point it out to me. If you look at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Russian fascism (ideology) and Talk:Rashism there is a rough consensus for having a stand alone "Fascism in Russia" page talking about the historical context, etc. Regards Gusfriend (talk) 08:16, 29 April 2022 (UTC)Reply

Copied above discussion from my talk page. LearnIndology (talk) 10:39, 29 April 2022 (UTC)Reply
@Gusfriend: See Talk:Rashism#Scope of the article.
Rashism was a redirect[2] from 6 April - 10 April when Fascism in Russia was turned into an article on 7 April.[3]
Initially it was agreed that Rashism should be a redirect to Fascism in Russia and Fascism in Russia should be turned into an article but this discussion later concluded that Rashism should be a stand-alone page.
Now that discussion indicates that we don't need Fascism in Russia anymore. If you look at the content you would see that it is just a WP:CFORK of different pages. Esolo5002 had also noted that this page is not ready for mainspace.[4]
If you only want to highlight the relevant subjects related to the subject then disambiguation Russian fascism is good enough for that.
I also note that we don't have a Fascism in the United States. It redirects to Fascism in North America.
I hope you restore the redirect. LearnIndology (talk) 10:39, 29 April 2022 (UTC)Reply
In response to your reply I have created a AfD discussion for the page to determine consensus and figure out the best way forward. Gusfriend (talk) 11:03, 29 April 2022 (UTC)Reply
