Pork Chop pictures.

There were 12 photos on the wall representing the previous seasons. *But*, for season 6, when had two different first episodes, both Kelly Mantle and Magnolia Crawford left "first". Were both of them on the wall, and if so, which season wasn't represented?Naraht (talk) 09:38, 3 January 2021 (UTC)

I think there were 13 photos total, Porkchop's was on the other wall. I'd have to double check though. BOVINEBOY2008 12:40, 3 January 2021 (UTC)
Bovineboy2008 is right. There are 12 pictures on one wall, and Porkchop's picture is on another. Why did you ask? Thijslandsmeer (talk) 12:53, 3 January 2021 (UTC)
OK, missed that Porkchop herself was on the other wall. Just saw that it was 2x6. BTW, a majority of the 13 queens in those pictures have Wikipedia pages.Naraht (talk) 14:35, 7 January 2021 (UTC)

Change Tamisha Iman's age from N/A to 42 Tamisha Iman's age (lacking in the chart) is 42 (October 16, 1978) Thecarld (talk) 04:32, 5 January 2021 (UTC)

Tamiaha’s age has not been confirmed by RuPaul’s Drag Race, or any other reliable source. That’s why we keep N/A for now. Thijslandsmeer (talk) 08:05, 5 January 2021 (UTC)

Contestant progress: Episode 1

I don't think the "WIN" and "LOSS" colours should be darkblue and orange. It doesn't seem fitting, plus there's rumours that there might be a Top 2 in each of the premieres, so whoever wins the lip syncs, there block or whatever its called will be darkblue. If you don't understand go to Season 12's page and look at Widow Von'Du and Jaida Essence Hall in their premieres. XEssenceXOfXBeautyX (talk) 12:54, 2 January 2021 (UTC)

- If this will be the case, then it will be changed in a week. For something uncertain like that, the colours used at the moment are doing just fine. Thijslandsmeer (talk) 13:00, 2 January 2021 (UTC)

I don't think the text should be "WIN" ("LOSS" seems fine) because, according to accessibility guidelines, information should be conveyed by more than just color and this is going to clash with the challenge wins the second they start doing challenges. Not A Superhero (talk) 17:54, 2 January 2021 (UTC)
It would suffice to have WIN written black on a paler cell color, in contrast to the main challenge wins (white on blue). Also, they don't need to be marked in bold since winning those lip-syncs doesn't grant the contestants any reward, similarly to an All Stars contestant winning a challenge but losing the lip-sync for their legacy. This is what I suggest, using light green (used in the All Stars 4 table for the contestants who won their lip-sync in the LalapaRuza) and orange (used in the All Stars 1 table for the contestants who ended up lip-syncing when their team was up for elimination):
Contestant 1
Denali LOSS
Elliott with 2 Ts LOSS
Gottmik WIN
Joey Jay LOSS
Kahmora Hall LOSS
Kandy Muse WIN
LaLa Ri WIN
Olivia Lux WIN
Rosé LOSS
Symone WIN
Tamisha Iman LOSS
Tina Burner WIN
Utica Queen LOSS
Gabrielrscott (talk) 22:45, 2 January 2021 (UTC)
This looks fine to me. Agreed. Thijslandsmeer (talk) 22:47, 2 January 2021 (UTC)
I think the text should be "SAFE" because those queens didn't win the maxi challenge and it may get confused with the maxi challenge winners, Also, "SAFE" previously used in the All Stars 4 table for the contestants who won their lip-sync in the LaLaPaRuza and that makes more sense in this case. Additionally, I suggest using purple as "LOSS" since that color previously used in the All Stars 4 table for the contestants who lost their lip sync in the LaLaPaRuza
Contestant 1
Denali LOSS
Elliott with 2 Ts LOSS
Gottmik SAFE
Joey Jay LOSS
Kahmora Hall LOSS
Kandy Muse SAFE
LaLa Ri SAFE
Olivia Lux SAFE
Rosé LOSS
Symone SAFE
Tamisha Iman LOSS
Tina Burner SAFE
Utica Queen LOSS
User:Bibopvin (talk) 3:26, 3 January 2021 (UTC)
WIN seems perfectly fine to me. I think it should be left as it is. I also think the orange is fine too. Let’s just leave it as it is, no need to keep changing it all the time. Billwebster91 (talk) 04:39, 3 January 2021 (UTC)
Agreed with Billwebster91. In All Stars 4 the contestants knew winning a lip sync didn't mean they'd win anything except staying in the competition. In this case, contestants either win or lose the lip sync. All thirteen contestants will come back in future episodes without a doubt since several looks from contestants of each group are seen in the trailers and ads, so it doesn't make sense to mark either WIN or LOSS in bold, because the outcome ends up being the same. Gabrielrscott (talk) 05:12, 3 January 2021 (UTC)

I think it should be darkgreen for win and orange for loss as the colours match as said previously but the darkgreen and orange will contrast to show a clear difference between winner and loser of the lipsyncs Benjarviskalp (talk) 10:49, 3 January 2021 (UTC)

I don't think the orange is fitting for "LOSS", a red-ish colour is more appropriate in my opinion.

Contestant 1
Denali LOSS
Elliott with 2 Ts LOSS
Gottmik WIN
Joey Jay LOSS
Kahmora Hall LOSS
Kandy Muse WIN
LaLa Ri WIN
Olivia Lux WIN
Rosé LOSS
Symone WIN

XEssenceXOfXBeautyX (talk) 11:36, 4 January 2021 (UTC)

This is more fitting XEssenceXOfXBeautyX (talk) 11:37, 4 January 2021 (UTC)

Red is also used for when a queen is eliminated, or is in the bottom two. Using red for this is too similar and/or confusing. Thijslandsmeer (talk) 12:22, 4 January 2021 (UTC)

Yeah orange is fine. No need to over complicate things. Billwebster91 (talk) 02:23, 5 January 2021 (UTC)

Contestant progress: Episode 2

LaLa Ri and Elliott have received close to no negative critiques and thus should be placed high.

Tina Burner was also praised, but needed to be reminded that cameras are her friends, which is a rather negative thing to be told on Drag Race. She should be marked as safe.

Gottmik and Kandy Muse received the most negative critiques and should be placed low. They were also expecting to lip sync, which means the episode edit was not trying to fool the audience.

Also, RuPaul saying that "this week, there are no bottoms, only tops" is a way to get faster to the lip sync (instead of sending each queen one by one to the back of the stage) because obviously, nobody was going to be up for elimination after the Top 2 queens were named. In past seasons when queens placed high or low, they always ended up being told they are safe just like in this episode, which doesn't justify marking "SAFE" to the high and low queens. The queens that have received negative or positive critiques should be marked as such. Gabrielrscott (talk) 04:36, 9 January 2021 (UTC)

I don't agree with you, I think it should be :-

Lala and Elliott - High Tina - Safe Kandy and Gottmik - Low

If Season 12's premieres is going to be like that, why can't Season 13? XEssenceXOfXBeautyX (talk) 07:08, 9 January 2021 (UTC)

Season 12 is different because they were called out in a particular order (in my opinion, they should all also be SAFE, but whatever). This episode was literally the same as Season 9, where they only called out the Tops and the rest were SAFE, as y'all can see on the Season 9 page. Tccph20 (talk) 11:42, 9 January 2021 (UTC)

Ru announced that there were just tops this week and no bottoms. I think that should warrant the queens who weren't declared to be in the top to just be marked as SAFE with critiques. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Ev1tttt (talkcontribs) 14:45, 9 January 2021 (UTC)

Definitely agree that they should just be SAFE with Critiques. There was actually a lot of arguing about Season 12's first two episodes' rankings, and some more about rankings later in the Season, too. Honestly, until we can get an external source that is confirmed to not have taken their opinion from this article, I don't think we should even have episode progress rankings. Could the table possibly be locked each week until a reliable source is found? Unless they specifically say 'you are the tops, and you are the bottoms', in the episode itself, or have winning and losing groups in a group challenge, then we just have conjecture and speculation. 109.79.116.207 (talk) 15:12, 9 January 2021 (UTC)

I can agree with putting Kandy and Mik as SAFE, but Elliott, LaLa and possibly Tina should be marked as HIGH... They got ONLY good critiques, just praise after praise after praise.♤MS♤ talk 20:51, 9 January 2021 (UTC)

I don't know why there's all this talk when Ru literally said they're all TOPS. It's so obvious why is there still a big argument. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 12BlueTrumpets (talkcontribs) 02:49, 10 January 2021 (UTC)

None of what you "think" or "agree with" matters. This needs to be sourced, and, until it is, it should stay as all safe. Nihlus 06:14, 10 January 2021 (UTC)
What kind of sourced info do u believe is needed for this? It's exactly what happend last season... Why should S13 be different? Elliott, Tina & LaLa got extremely positive feedback at their performances and were ultimately declared safe (literally what being HIGH means) ♤MS♤ talk 08:00, 10 January 2021 (UTC)
Last season had exactly the same discussion and someone had to block the page so that everyone would just stop. But at least in season 12, they were called out in a particular order. This time around, they weren't even called out, it was just "Y'all are tops, y'all are safe". So, there's only tops and safes, and that's that. How can this be so hard to understand. New contestant progress table: Rosé's second win

Rosé's second win in Episode 11 isn't shown in the new table for some reason. And I have to say, simplifying the tables so much just makes them lose any purpose, you could just remove them altogether at this point... What a shame. 2607:FA49:1C40:4800:8120:CA4A:DD15:8D1A (talk) 23:21, 2 September 2021 (UTC)

Episode 15 Lipsync

Should we include the Denali vs LaLa Ri lipsync in the Lipsync Table? Bibopvin (talk) 07:23, 17 April 2021 (UTC)

I think we should considering it was still a lipsync and there was still a winner, the only iffy part is should it go after episode 3 or 14 because nobody was eliminated and they only called a winner Yvng.Kxng (talk) 14:01, 23 July 2021 (UTC)

Voting history

Source for the votes that weren't shown on the episode? We don't know if Elliott and Utica were tied with 3 votes each, for all I know they could be tied with 2 votes each and random people like Rosé and Kahmora had 1 vote, just like Joey Jay. This would mean a tie between Elliott and Utica anyway. Tccph20 (talk) 11:42, 9 January 2021 (UTC)

Why is Olivia Lux hometown New Jersey, when its supposed to be New York? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.46.126.49 (talk) 00:16, 15 January 2021 (UTC)

@82.46.126.49: She's originally from New Jersey (as she discussed in her MTQ video, for example). However, the show lists NYC as her hometown (see her Werk Room entrance), so I agree it should be New York. I'll make that change. Armadillopteryx 02:19, 15 January 2021 (UTC)

Episode 11

Is Olivia considered "SAFE" with critiques or "LOW" in episode 11? She received mixed critiques but was given more negative critiques when Rupaul was calling people safe. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Kyleflorence24 (talkcontribs) 20:23, 21 March 2021 (UTC)

i would say safe because she didn’t have the whole dramatic bottom three moment, she was just announced safe and was given more positive critiques than mik BitterrrTwinkkk (talk) 04:51, 22 March 2021 (UTC)

I would say she should be considered low, just like Gigi for ep.8 in S12, or Nina West for ep.1 in S11. They had bad critiques despite not being "bottom 3". But who am I to decide :p--♤MS♤ talk 17:02, 22 March 2021 (UTC)

I agree. There have been several episodes with multiple LOWs. Ellis.o22 (talk) 18:29, 22 March 2021 (UTC)

The fact we are even having to start a thread on this means that it is clear that the placement should simply be SAFE. If it the critiques are not clear, then that is the best thing to fall back on. Otherwise it will just result in constant edit warring. Billwebster91 (talk) 21:33, 22 March 2021 (UTC)

Both examples that you have made are not the same as this. Nina West in episode 1 of US Season 11 was a clear LOW, as she was announced as part of the tops and bottoms of the week. It’s the same with Gigi Goode in episode 8 of season 12, they were separated into a clear top 4 and bottom 4. With this, it was not a clear cut between the tops and bottoms. Therefore Olivia, being the middle queen to be called, with a mixture of critiques should simply be marked as SAFE. Billwebster91 (talk) 21:38, 22 March 2021 (UTC)

Olivia Lux did not have a mixture of critiques, what the judges said: ~You always look happy, and that's a problem. ~It felt like one-note. ~The concept wasn't strong enough and you still are trying to figure out what your brand is... And the ONE positive critique she had was: "Tonight on the runway I think this is wonderful. She even received the pon that Ru gives the constestant to make the audience uncertain of wether they are going to be safe or in the bottom for crying out loud. "Olivia Lux, you are a bubbly queen, but your soda pop left us a little... flat..." is what RuPaul said to her before calling her safe. Now, I know it might be difficult seeing your favorite contestant in the bottom but creating a edit war won't help her. ♤MS♤ talk 01:15, 23 March 2021 (UTC)

It’s got nothing to do with who’s favourite is who’s. It’s about clarity and consistency which must be presented in a manner that is as encyclopaedic as possible. As for me ‘creating’ an edit war, I think thats a little rich considering you have reverted the page multiple times in the last 24 hours, therefore being the main perpetrator in any edit war that may be occurring. Billwebster91 (talk) 02:13, 23 March 2021 (UTC)\

Lol why is billwebster91 and ellis.o22 so quick to always edit the pages and think theyre correct are they drag race admins or something like calm urself down pls

@theplugsboy If you disagree with someone’s edit, then take it up with them in a civilised and grown up manner. The talk page is not here for childish and trivial jibes. Thank you. Billwebster91 (talk) 01:13, 30 March 2021 (UTC)

Episode 13 Placements

Based on how previous seasons worked Symone should just be SAFE highlighted yellow for episode 13. She didn’t get a secondary positive critique and was just declared safe, unlike Mik who did get the second positive mention. I also noticed someone also changed all the other SAFE highlighted with yellow for the entire season for some reason, seems suspicious. If we want to keep her as a HIGH placement every chart from every season should be reevaluated so they are consistent across the board.

Yes! Symone was declared safe this is a common theme among all the seasons wikis and it pisses me off...queens are placed as high or low when ther were SAFE Babyboi7 (talk) 09:56, 3 April 2021 (UTC)
