- Previous version of article was copy/pasted from [1]. While we don't want to re-introduce WP:COPYVIOs to the article, it could be used as a reference to expand this a bit. Beeblebrox (talk) 20:41, 27 July 2009 (UTC)

editThe creator and only major contributor to date of this article has a conflict of interest.--RadioFan (talk) 14:41, 27 July 2009 (UTC)

- Having a conflict of interest isn't a problem. Abusing a conflict of interest is a problem. WhatamIdoing (talk) 00:04, 28 July 2009 (UTC)
Ref formatting
editYou might like the script at http://toolserver.org/~diberri/cgi-bin/templatefiller/
If you put in a PubMed id number, or an ISBN (etc: see the list in the pop-up), it will retrieve all the details about it automatically and format it into a citation template, like this:
- Sheskin J (1975). "Thalidomide in lepra reaction". Int. J. Dermatol. 14 (8): 575–6. PMID 1176243.
{{cite journal}}
: Unknown parameter|month=
ignored (help)
You don't have to do this, of course, but I think it's a timesaver. WhatamIdoing (talk) 00:04, 28 July 2009 (UTC)
- Thanks. I will have to remember that for next time. I think the time saved might be worth it, even though I despise the AMA citation format. IronGargoyle (talk) 00:06, 28 July 2009 (UTC)
- This article is so screwy, there are two footnotes and eleven references, but only two sentences of actual content. That doesn't make any sense. If those references were really used in creating this article, surely there was more that could be pulled from them than a basic statement of his most important discovery and a list of awards...
