Who is in PL's monarchist faction? (diff/1098812601)
editI reverted 152.250.57.114's edit, and 189.69.178.96 re-reverted it, adding more sources. Not quite an edit war, but I still don't see the claim of a monarchist faction in PL supported by the given sources.
- The article in the Gazeta do Povo doesn't mention anything about monarchists; it's a summary of which parties in Brazil will have most candidates for the Senate and for governor this year.
- The BBC article talks of monarchists PSL and in the govt, not in PL; it doesn't even mention it.
- As I said, the UOL article also doesn't mention PL, and mostly all of those it quotes emphasise they only circumstantially support Bolsonaro, who in turn is not synonymous with the party, but disapprove of much of his govt.
National liberalism
editWhy don't you remove this from the infobox? I did not find the data that referred to the PL as a national liberal. There is at least enough "Conservatism" and "Big tent" in ideology. Mureungdowon (talk) 01:46, 20 November 2022 (UTC)
It is a far right party
editLook you guys can fight reality once again just like in the PTB article, which had many edits about it being a far right party undone by wikipedia editors until it got too clear and his party president literally attempted a terrorist attack against federal Police agents. I guess you guys will have to wait for Valdermar Costa Neto to do the same even though he's just a Bolsonaro puppet. Just like PTB wasn't about the likes of Campos Machados and Ranolfo Viera Juniors of the world (as Roberto Jefferson radicalized and kicked them out of the party), PL will purge its non bolsonarist elements as well. Saying bolsonarists are a minority of PL is like saying Trumpists are a minority in the GOP. 2804:431:E7CD:A6B4:41F1:6D6A:76F5:294D (talk) 13:36, 11 March 2023 (UTC)
