• "It is uncertain where the dove should be placed within the genus Ptilinopus due to the lack of a male specimen." Why is this the reason? Could be elaborated.

• The behaviour section is so short and doesn't really tell anything implied by the title, it could maybe be merged into description or habitat?

I think it needs to be there for standard bird formatting practices, plus it emphasizes how little is known. Also, if Negros Fruit Doves are miraculously rediscovered, then the section is there and waiting for dramatic expansion. Thanks for doing the review.
