Bauxite
editIt is false that electrolysis is *required* to produce aluminum metal from bauxite! In fact, the Bauxite article on Wikipedia states that it was first made via reduction using Na or K metal. It is true that practical and economical production must use electrolysis. The idea that there is only one way to make X, for almost any value of X, should be avoided since it is almost certainly false.98.17.181.251 (talk) 17:29, 8 July 2024 (UTC)
