Napa (disambiguation) → Napa — Relisted. Vegaswikian (talk) 23:40, 30 November 2010 (UTC) Napa is currently a redirect to Napa, California. I have my doubts that it's the primary topic, though; with the valley, the county, the auto parts brand, and the leather, it just seems as if there are too many other possible uses to assume that the city is almost certainly what readers are looking for. - NOTE Today (November 29) alerting talk pages for Napa and Napa, California of this change so that watchers of those affected pages can provide input. -- JHunterJ (talk) 12:43, 29 November 2010 (UTC)
- Support. I know Napa, I've been to Napa, I love Napa, and by that I mean the wine country, the valley, including the town, but not just the town. So, I agree with Power's doubts. Not primary topic. --Born2cycle (talk) 22:05, 21 November 2010 (UTC)
- Oppose Napa is by far the largest city in both the county and valley, the auto parts company is usually known as Napa Auto Parts (not just Napa), and the others seem pretty insignificant in comparison. The county and valley are de facto namesakes for the city, regardless of which had the name first. A good precedent: We don't direct Spokane to a disambig, despite the county, river, tribe and many other uses. D O N D E groovily Talk to me 01:47, 27 November 2010 (UTC)
- The other uses of "Spokane" are not nearly as well known as is the city of Spokane. When someone in San Francisco says he or she is "going to 'Napa'", they often mean the county or valley, not necessarily the city of 72,000. When someone in Seattle says they're going to Spokane, they're almost for sure going to that city of 200,000. --Born2cycle (talk) 06:02, 27 November 2010 (UTC)
- Yep, and when someone in any other part of the country says that, they usually mean the auto parts store. =) Powers T 03:31, 1 December 2010 (UTC)

- Support I think a better argument for primary topic would be the wine region rather than the town for "Napa". Having competing primary topics for a location is usually a good sign that it should be a disambig page. AgneCheese/Wine 07:38, 4 December 2010 (UTC)
