Music recording salesRecord sales – It seems that "Record sales" is a more widely used term. A result on Google Search displays 2,490,000 entries for "Record sales" and only 16,600 entries for "Music recording sales", with the latter result more referring to Certification than the "Sales" itself. The new title will be also inline with Record shop, Record collecting, Record chart, Record label, and Record producer. Bluesatellite (talk) 03:00, 23 June 2018 (UTC)--Relisting. @AjaxSmack: This is what I found about "digital record sales" [1][2][3][4]. Rihanna would not have sold 230 million "records" if it was not for digital downloads. Bluesatellite (talk) 23:21, 1 July 2018 (UTC)Reply

Chart needed

edit

I think we should add a chart for sales per year by format, for example, like the one at https://www.visualcapitalist.com/music-industry-sales/ https://www.whathifi.com/news/vinyl-record-sales-drop-in-2016 — Preceding unsigned comment added by 92.71.17.254 (talk) 11:08, 6 July 2020 (UTC)Reply
