Let me introduce myself first. my name is Rashed Al Harmoodi and I work for Mubadala Development Company. Mubadala believes that Wikipedia is a vital source of information and an important collection of knowledge. However, having reviewed this entry, it appears that some of the information on Mubadala is inaccurate. We have prepared a list of suggested changes below, and we would like to appeal to the community of Wikipedia editors to review these suggestions and make edits to the entry as appropriate to ensure accuracy and balance.

1) Some of the information on the percentage of ownership in other companies is inaccurate. I've listed those companies below and the correct ownership figure by Mubadala (along with 3rd party sources). I've also included a link to Mubadala's annual report (that was audited by KPMG) which lists most of the companies Mubadala owns and the percentage of ownership in said companies.

2) Also, the Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi is not scheduled to open till 2012 (and not 2010 as stated). Here's the link from their website: http://my.clevelandclinic.org/departments/abudhabi/clevelandclinicinabudhabi.aspx

3) Finally, the last paragraph referencing SR Technics states that "Mubadala also offered the Irish staff one of the worst redundancy packages in Irish history (0.84 weeks pay per year of service)." The source cited to support this fact is now a non-working link; however, in the original cited article, this assertion is attributed to a political figure with a strong stake in the issue who cites no source for the information. We believe this information to be incorrect and an unbalanced portrayal of the actual circumstances.

Thank you. Rashed Al Harmoodi, Mubadala Rashedmubadala (talk) 12:07, 25 May 2010 (UTC) —Preceding unsigned comment added by Rashedmubadala (talkcontribs) 06:41, 24 May 2010 (UTC)Reply

Had you confined your edits to posts on this page, we would not have found it necessary to block you. Instead, you persisted in using your account to edit the article itself. I have blocked your account due to the combination of username and self-interested, conflict-of-interest edits. --Orange Mike | Talk 14:04, 23 August 2010 (UTC)Reply

Proposed merge with Advanced Technology Investment Company

edit

ATIC is wholly owned by Mubadala; it is WP practice to centralize the material for a group of firms in an article for the parent company DGG ( talk ) 02:26, 31 October 2013 (UTC)Reply

As an ATIC employee - ATIC is indeed a separate entity which is wholly owned by Mubadala. In the case of separate organizations owned by another organization, Wikipedia generally maintains separate pages. Motorola is not centralized under Google's page, NBCUNiversal is not centralized under Comcast, even Chevrolet is not centralized under GM. There are many further examples reflecting a clear norm for organizations like ATIC and Mubadala Harrisonrice (talk) 10:31, 11 November 2013 (UTC)Reply

Actually, it's just the opposite: it depends on the amount of information, and making separate pages is the exception. For a relatively short page like this, its rather different than for Motorola or Chevrolet. I'm going to ask for another opinion. DGG ( talk ) 18:39, 17 November 2013 (UTC)Reply

ATIC has now formally been merged into Mubadala Technology, a business unit within Mubadala. The ATIC brand is no longer used except for some legal documents. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 204.174.232.1 (talk) 14:50, 17 September 2014 (UTC)Reply

I'll merge if nobody objects but seems some content should be transferred over.--BelBivDov (talk) 21:26, 8 September 2015 (UTC)Reply

Pre-2016 history

edit

This company was the result of a 2016 merger of Mubadala Development Company and IPIC, do we have anything pre-2016 that belongs in its history? Nswix (talk) 19:41, 21 March 2022 (UTC)Reply
