I noted that his official website's biography contained information that could prove useful for the article. Anybody feels like working on it?

Recent changes

1. I felt the wikitable format for the filmography gave absurd results, so I switched to columns (which look a lot nicer and are very easy to edit!). I didn't anyone would complain so I went along with it.

2. I inversed the order of the directorial filmography so as to fit more appropriately with the acting one, which is arranged from earliest to most recent. Me loves coherence.

3. I found the sentence about his coming from a family heavily involved in cinema to be superfluous, therefore I removed it. I mean, the reader got that from his mother being a top actress, his dad a popular director, and his uncle a professional cameraman...

Shaan (actor) → Shaan Shahid – Whether the surname Shahid is "fairly often used" per WP:NCP#Single name, which normally discourages single names, is your decision. Searching for the Pakistani actor online wasn't easy. Without inserting narrow terms, the results would include Shaan (singer), an Indian. However, WP:NATURAL discourages obscure and made-up names. If adding "Shahid" improves the article, yet the surname may be obscure and rarely used and may not meet also WP:CRITERIA, perhaps before ignoring these applicable rules that prevent us from improving the article's name, there should be other applicable existing rules, which I might overlook. --Relisted. DOB check

• 27 April 1971 birthdate is supported by primary bio, Mag The Weekly and some other sites. There seems to be no source for a 1960 birthdate, that seems to be from a current IP vandalism campaign. Dl2000 (talk) 22:52, 1 October 2015 (UTC)
