Muslim expansion

edit

"This ambush was the turning point in the expansion of the Muslim world; the largest and fastest expansion since Alexander the Great. Gradually successful counter-attacks drove the invaders back out of France."

I have excised the above text from the article - it is a broad, unreferenced claim that is, according to my reading, questionable. It also has little direct relevance to Majolus of Cluny.--Iacobus (talk) 23:14, 22 June 2010 (UTC)Reply

POV

edit

This article is obviously heavily biased in favor of pietistic Catholic viewpoints. It uncritically repeats miracles without any effort at a critical point-of-view. It nowhere strives for neutrality, taking the Cluniac point of view unreservedly. A major rewrite is needed, once better sources are located. Web pages devoted to the devotion of Catholic saints are inadequate.
