I've tried to trim this back to focus on the scope of the article as naturally defined by its title. Namely, I would assume that this is about the roadways designated by the state of Colorado as Scenic and Historic Byways. They may have additional designations from other agencies, but we only should have the one listing with the names/lengths/descriptions of those state-designated byways. Those additional designations can be mentioned in the notes, but it was very confusing to mix everything all together.
There was also a bunch of additional content fluffing up the see also and external links sections that I removed. Both were looking like link farms and offering very generic links instead of the more specific ones most helpful to readers. If a reader wants/needs content on the state generally, we already have Colorado for them.
While many of your edits were useful, your wholesale removal of the Federal designations section and the accompanying six redirects did nothing to enhance the article. Yours aye, Buaidh talke-mail20:49, 9 June 2023 (UTC)Reply
The subject of this article is "Colorado Scenic and Historic Byways". Any other designations are secondary, and still noted appropriately. We wouldn't merge National Register of Historic Places listings in Colorado (a federal government designation) with its equivalent state historic site designation. Thus we shouldn't merge/confuse/conflate NSB/NFSB/BLMBCB designations with the CSHB designation. As for those federal government agency byway designations, we have not yet needed to split the national lists up. Imzadi 1979→22:18, 9 June 2023 (UTC)Reply
