Fair use rationale for Image:GothManga.jpg

Image:GothManga.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. The narrator's name

This is clearly not going to get anywhere discussed only in comments. What we have here is a rather unique case, and I really think we need to consider our options carefully. WP:SPOILER is pretty clear that something being a spoiler is not a justification for keeping it off a Wikipedia page, and I entirely agree with that - but the justification behind that change in policy was that everyone knows the character and plot section will contain spoilers. I'm operating on the theory that nobody would expect the name of the main character to completely ruin the entire last chapter of the novel, and I would suggest this justifies a slightly unorthodox approach. Having Itsuki Kamiyama listed as a character, and clearly stating that he is the narrator, does satisfy the demands of the WP:SPOILER while also not being a dick about it. Itsuki is introduced as a new character, and not identified as the narrator till the end of the book; I feel this justifies a more unorthodox approach. I'll back down if people feel otherwise, but I want to make sure there's consensus among people who've read the novel/understand the circumstances here. Doceirias (talk) 06:22, 3 November 2008 (UTC)

There is a problem with this logic

Except for the fact that Itsuki Kamiyama gets in a knife fight with the main character and (it is implied that Kamiyama wins, Ch.5 PG.213, top left panel), at least in the manga. The main character is referred to as "Takami" in (Ch.5, PG.204, lowest left panel). In page 208 in the book, Morino "told me about how the case was a lot more grotesque than the police had announced" to Kamiyama. However, at the start of the chapter 'Voice', the main character knew more about the case than Morino did. I do agree that the narrator should be named, just that we should ensure the correct person is named to keep controversy to a minimum.
