Les Robinson's book "Field Guide to the Native Plants of Sydney" states "..after Henry Deane, railway engineer, who collected the type specimen near Lane Cove in 1883...".[1]

The Australian Plant Name Index and Joy Thompson's paper give "Type: "NEW SOUTH WALES: Devlins Creek in Pennant Hills Park, Cheltenham, 33° 45′ 30" S, 150° 05′ 00" E, Coveny 11343 & Taylor, 11.1982 (NSW)"[2] Gderrin (talk) 22:26, 25 March 2020 (UTC)Reply
