The result of the move request was: Moved. Consensus that we should move to the shorter versions of the line disambiguation, which is consistent with Prairie Crossing station (Milwaukee District) etc. anyway. (non-admin closure) — Amakuru (talk) 22:11, 16 March 2016 (UTC)
- Lake Forest (Metra Milwaukee District / North Line station) → Lake Forest station (Milwaukee District)
- Lake Forest station (Union Pacific / North Line) → Lake Forest station (Union Pacific)
– Per WP:USSTATION. Two stations on the same system in the same town, so line-based disambiguation is the only option. Neither station is the WP:PRIMARYTOPIC so Lake Forest station should be a disambiguation page. Mackensen (talk) 00:23, 3 February 2016 (UTC)
- I'll say this, it beats the crap out of just "Lake Forest station." ---------User:DanTD (talk) 16:51, 3 February 2016 (UTC)
- Well, I just moved Lake Forest station (Union Pacific / North Line), but if you want to move it again, be my guest. Lake Forest station is a disambiguation. epicgenius (talk) 02:52, 4 February 2016 (UTC)
- I'd noticed, but I think having only one station disambiguated is going to cause confusion. Mackensen (talk) 02:54, 4 February 2016 (UTC)
- Then, i think we should move this article ASAP. epicgenius (talk) 04:02, 4 February 2016 (UTC)

- Support Lake Forest (Metra Milwaukee District / North Line station) → Lake Forest station (Milwaukee District / North Line). No opinion on the other move, which is already completed, well sort of. epicgenius (talk) 04:02, 4 February 2016 (UTC)
- Comment MOS:SLASH/WP:SUBPAGE we should not be using slashes in the disambiguator, it would be preferable if we can get rid of the slash. -- 70.51.200.135 (talk) 09:26, 5 February 2016 (UTC)
- MOS:SLASH doesn't apply here, because Milwaukee District / North Line is the actual name of the article for the line. If we get rid of one slash, we should get rid of the other, too. epicgenius (talk) 16:33, 6 February 2016 (UTC)
- Note that I proposed doing just that in the interests of brevity. Mackensen (talk) 17:04, 6 February 2016 (UTC)
- We can create redirects from the long name to the short name, or vice versa. epicgenius (talk) 19:15, 6 February 2016 (UTC)

- Support per WP:USSTATION. The simpler names will be better, so long as redirects are created for all options and both articles are included on the dab page.--Cúchullain t/c 22:17, 8 February 2016 (UTC)
