editCan someone provide an English translation of the title, please? Thanks. -- Visviva 12:11, 1 June 2006 (UTC)
- Done. Valot = lights, and laitakaupunki refers to the outskirts of a town, so I translated it as "Lights of the Outskirts". –Mysid(t) 12:43, 1 June 2006 (UTC)
- The film is usually referred to as Lights in the Dusk in English, though. –Mysid(t) 06:25, 29 June 2006 (UTC)
Laitakaupungin valot is NOT a comedy.
English title vs. Finnish title
editI changed the name of the article from the Finnish title to the English one as per naming conventions for foreign language films. The Finnish title remains in the first sentence to indentify the film's original name. SWik78 (talk) 14:17, 29 January 2008 (UTC)
