- Juan Sánchez Moreno → Juan Sánchez (footballer, born 1972)
- Juan Sebastián Sánchez → Juan Sánchez (soccer)
- Juan Sánchez (Mexican footballer) → Juan Sánchez (footballer, born 1998)
– WP:COMMONNAME of these footballers is "Juan Sánchez" without middle name/maternal last names. Disambiguate to standard for footballers. Ortizesp (talk) 14:47, 21 April 2020 (UTC)
- Support per nom. I'm never that happy with using "soccer" as a sole disambiguator when there are also footballers, as soccer is used as an alternative to football in other countries too (I'd prefer "American soccer player"), but that seems to be standard on Wikipedia now. -- Necrothesp (talk) 12:20, 22 April 2020 (UTC)
