Orphaned references in Islamist Shi'ism
editI check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of Islamist Shi'ism's orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.
Reference named "KramerTerms":
- From Islamic fundamentalism: Coming to Terms, Fundamentalists or Islamists? Martin Kramer originally in Middle East Quarterly (Spring 2003), pp. 65–77.
- From Islamism: Coming to Terms, Fundamentalists or Islamists? Martin Kramer originally in Middle East Quarterly (Spring 2003), pp. 65–77.
I apologize if any of the above are effectively identical; I am just a simple computer program, so I can't determine whether minor differences are significant or not. AnomieBOT⚡ 13:19, 6 May 2022 (UTC)

Major problems with article
editThe one well known name in Shia Islamism is Ayatollah Khomeini -- the founder of the Islamic Republic of Iran and leader of the only Islamist revolution (the Iranian Revolution) so far in the Muslim world. His name is not found in the lede (which is supposed to summarize key points of the article) or in any heading. This article seems to be a rewriting of Shia history to downplay his role. --Louis P. Boog (talk) 14:57, 25 January 2023 (UTC)
- Given that his name appears around three dozen times on the page, maybe so. Iskandar323 (talk) 15:44, 25 January 2023 (UTC)
- Why wasn't there a section about him? Arguably this article should be a section in the Khomeinism article. Not its own article. --Louis P. Boog (talk) 01:12, 21 June 2023 (UTC)
Rewriting
editHave been attempting to rewrite this article in 2023. Still a mess, but hopefully more accurate. Plan to reorganize it and trim sections as it is now around 160 kb long. My apologies it is taking so long.--Louis P. Boog (talk) 01:07, 21 June 2023 (UTC)

Islamist Shi'ism → Shia Islamism – "Shia Islamism" is a better term to be used. TheLibyanGuy (talk) 00:51, 13 January 2024 (UTC) This is a contested technical request (permalink). TheLibyanGuy (talk) 00:52, 13 January 2024 (UTC)
- Support Less awkward, seems an improvement. Walrasiad (talk) 23:53, 13 January 2024 (UTC)
- Moved: Shia Islamism was not possible because it already is a redirect to Shia Islam page.

- I reverted your move Dr. Hamza Ebrahim, an RM should stay open for at least seven days to give people enough time to give their opinions. BegbertBiggs (talk) 12:23, 14 January 2024 (UTC)
- Support, per above. --Yorkporter (talk) 21:46, 18 January 2024 (UTC)
