I don't think there was a brand called "ironworker"

I was looking through this catalog and I don't see a brand in there called "ironwork". I believe the term "ironworker" refers to a type of machine. As such, the article should be moved to ironworker (machine). Wizard191 (talk) 19:29, 3 December 2010 (UTC)

I support the move. I've never worked on the fabrication side very much, although family and friends have. I'm more familiar with machining, but I have general knowledge of fabrication on the level of anyone who hasn't spent years in that job specifically. Therefore, I took the word of whoever wrote this article that it once was a brand name. Of course, I mean "take the word" in the sense that a Wikipedian does—"it sounds plausible and I'm not the person who will research the confirmation at this time." I recall tweaking the ledes of this article and "ironworker" to handle the disambiguation more clearly (the machine versus the tradesperson). But I haven't yet looked into learning more about the machines. Looking at that tooling catalog, I too question whether it was ever actually a brand. I think we should be bold and move it to the eminently logical pagename "ironworker (machine)", because the worst that can happen is that someone will show up one day and prove that a brand used to exist—in which case, we could handle it at that time, via either content tweaks or pagename tweaks.
