The article is overall long enough, properly summarizes itself in the lead and is reasonably well written. Both major sections include enough references and are well-written.
- It is reasonably well written.
- a (prose): b (MoS):
- The history and lead sections are very well-written, as are the descriptions of the auxiliary routes. However, the route description, although has good word choice, seems a bit confusing for those not familiar with roads. Also, improper transitioning from sentence to sentence causes me to question the prose quality.
- a (prose): b (MoS):
- It is factually accurate and verifiable.
- a (references): b (citations to reliable sources): c (OR):
- There are enough references throughout the article, all which are reliable.
- a (references): b (citations to reliable sources): c (OR):
- It is broad in its coverage.
- a (major aspects): b (focused):
- The article covers everything needed about the route, and is focused on the topic.
- a (major aspects): b (focused):
- It follows the neutral point of view policy.

- Overall:
- Pass/Fail:
- I believe this article is great and ready for GA except for a bit of confusing prose in the route description section. Once the route description is properly revised so it is easy to read, the article can pass.
- Pass/Fail:
- Thank you for the review, PCB. Can you provide examples of passages in the Route description that are confusing or that have improper transitioning from sentence to sentence? I am having trouble figuring out which sentences I need to rewrite. Viridiscalculus (talk) 00:24, 9 May 2010 (UTC)
- "I-895 begins at Exit 46 of I-95 in Elkridge with single-lane flyover ramps from I-95 north to I-895 north and I-895 south to I-95 south" Some people don't know what a single-lane flyover is. I even am a bit confused by it. Correct me if I'm wrong, but try to use less numbers and more words. Other examples include usage of "The highway goes to" without any "then" or "continues". --PCB 00:30, 9 May 2010 (UTC)
- I have revised the Route description to make it easier to read. The article should be good to go now. Viridiscalculus (talk) 21:28, 13 May 2010 (UTC)

– If this is the only I-895 that exists today, wouldn't this be the primary topic? 24.228.135.248 (talk) 21:07, 30 August 2019 (UTC)
- Support - When an auxiliary Interstate Highway number only has one current number, the current route should be the primary topic while the former routes should be linked from a disambiguation page. For example, Interstate 410 is about the current highway in Texas while Interstate 410 (disambiguation) lists all the former routes. So therefore the article about the Maryland I-895 should be titled as Interstate 895 while the disambiguation page should be moved to Interstate 895 (disambiguation). Dough4872 01:51, 31 August 2019 (UTC)
- Support. Precedent has been set with Interstate 410 (disambiguation) as mentioned and Interstate 494 (disambiguation); I'm sure there are others. –Fredddie™ 05:10, 31 August 2019 (UTC)

Change top shield from I-895 to I-895 Toll
editThis route, or at least most of it, has now been signed as Toll I-895. However, before I changed the shield on this page I was wondering if anyone could give me a second opinion on it. Thoughts? ChessEric 22:41, 11 August 2023 (UTC)
