Succeeded by class of Oilers

edit

No information and US Navy is only starting to think of design for class of oiler to replace these. Should add information on that. Last few ships of class are double hulled, that should also be added. As military vessels, and oilers versus tankers they might be exempt but an international agreement already exists to require removal from service of all single hulled tankers by a certain date (2015?)

Armament

edit

The infobox states "Wartime: probably 2 x 20-mm Phalanx CIWS". Does anybody know of a source to support this? I have left a post, asking the contributing editor about this as well. - thewolfchild 16:26, 14 October 2013 (UTC)Reply
