Nauka i Zhizn of 1950s had a column "Velikiye Stroyki Kommunizma. All issues are digitized and downloadable, so it is possible to track all "genuine" ones. I say "genuine", because the term became abused since perestroika times, and applied indiscriminately to all larger construction projects of the era, starting from Belomorkanal, mostly in pejorative context, referring to gulag labor there. `'Míkka>t 05:46, 2 December 2008 (UTC)
