he not loosely based ON ANYONE. the pilot episode is based on mark wahlberg every episode after s1e1 is written just for the show. In real life the vegas baby vegas episode in season 3 part 1 was closer to how mark and his entourage acted. But still they were more violent and got into fights. As per an interview with walhberg. Since its asked to him many times.
