Confusion with Dr. Kenzo Tenma in Monster

edit

I added a line to to the top of the article with a link to the part of the article on the 1994 manga "Monster" by Naoki Urasawa that gives the description of Dr. Tenma (who is the main character). I am not sure if I should have linked just to the article Monster because that Dr. Tenma does not have a seperate article

Which Series?

edit

The end of the article mentions the 1980 Astro Boy anime (which IMDB says aired in the ’60s?). What about the 2003 series? —Frungi 23:42, 24 November 2005 (UTC)Reply

How much information is necessary?

edit

As I'm copyeditting this article, I've got to wonder how much of this detail is really necessary. While this is supposed to be an article about one character in a series, it goes into a fair amount of detail about the plot of two manga series and two of the television series. How much is really necessary to explain who Doctor Tenma is?

On the other hand, while all of this detail is given, there is no mention of the 1960s television series. If we really want to describe the various roles that Tenma has had, shouldn't something be said about that series?

What do you think? Not being that knowledgable about the subject, I have difficulty deciding what should stay and what should go. I'll gladly make the necessary changes, if others will share their opinions.Hippychick 02:29, 4 August 2010 (UTC) —Preceding unsigned comment added by Hippychickali (talkcontribs)
