It should be added who creates the list, and when exactly it is (usually) published.--Roentgenium111 (talk) 17:38, 10 August 2010 (UTC)Reply

I don't understand the lead of this list. Is "Dissolution of the United Kingdom Parliament" (note the capital D) a famous historical event? Or is this just the most silly way possible to say that each time a parliament's term ends, some of its members are honoured, and this is a list of those honoured on this occasion?

Also, is this supposed to be a Wikipedia list (an empty one)? If it is kept in the real world, then it would be nice to know if one is made for each dissolution, or if there is just one such list with all people on it, neatly packed under a cushion on the throne. Or maybe it's something that is published somewhere? Hans Adler 09:49, 12 December 2011 (UTC)Reply

There is a separate official "Dissolution Honours List" for each dissolution of Parliament, e.g. this is the most current such List. (Some others are linked in the (unfortunately very incomplete) infobox list.) So this article is about a list, but is not meant to be a list itself. --Roentgenium111 (talk) 21:28, 14 January 2013 (UTC)Reply
