Deletion Invalid

edit

The Deletion did not follow standard procedure. The person who nominated it failed to follow through with a formal discussion or reason. No discussion EVER occured. The song is of importance due to its hidden nature, mystique and discussion involved with it. Are you telling me that Wikipedia laws can just be ignored? Please re-submit the tag and go through the process again stating why the article should be deleted rather than purging it. Thank you very much. Klichka (talk) 04:40, 3 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

A discussion did take place at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Hush (Tool song). Disgustipated was included in the AFD for Hush, along with many other songs. Hidden songs are not notable for being hidden (not that Disgustipated is hidden). The songs mystique and discussion involved with it may make it notable but that information was in the article when the AFD took place so hasn't changed anything since then. What laws do you think have been ignored? Duffbeerforme (talk) 06:13, 3 August 2008 (UTC)Reply
I noticed that there was no discussion on the talk page, other people said so. Ideally you are supposed to put discussion on the talk page of the article as to why you are nominating it. I saw nothing at all related to this and beings that I was trying to find specific information on the song via wikipedia and that the song is rather famous among Tool fans, I believed that beauacracy ignored the other side of the discussion and that ignorance lead to the downfall of the article, not valid points.
