Russia edit

Another source says "it's not marketed anywhere in the world right now, and it hasn't been approved in any country," said Dr. Rachelle Doody, the study's principal investigator".161.148.141.102 (talk) 20:02, 18 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

That's a helpful link, but it's unclear as to what, exactly, the principal investigator is referring to by the word "it". Does she mean that "Dimebontm is not marketed or approved for treating alzheimer's"?. Or does she mean that "Dimebolin hydrochloride is not marketed or approved in any country, not even for use as an anti-histamine." The first meaning would undoubtedly be true, the second just seems quite unlikely for a 25-year-old substance. I couldn't find a secondary source to clarify, can anyone else? Or can anyone tell us whether it's made and offered as an antihistamine in his own country, so we can at least know whether it might be possible to find such a secondary source to cite on this question? How it is made edit

Can anyone say who made it in Russia ? or what the process was ? Is it, or the manufacturing process, protected by any patents ? Rod57 (talk) 15:52, 20 December 2009 (UTC)Reply

Poor use of See Also edit

The list of other AD drugs under See Also seems to belong better to Alzheimers disease unless they are structurally or mechanistically related to dimebon/latrepiridine (in which case the relevance should be noted). Rod57 (talk) 10:49, 16 April 2011 (UTC)Reply
