- Diego López (footballer, born 3 November 1981) → Diego López (Spanish footballer, born 1981)
– The current titles literally ask all readers to know the difference between them solely on the date they were born. Assume for a second that both were born on the same date, which would have been the solution there? "Diego López (Spanish/Argentine footballer, born 1981)". The previous titles were not bad, the current ones fail WP:RECOGNIZABILITY for non-experts. (CC) Tbhotch™ 21:33, 30 August 2021 (UTC)

In this exceptional case, disambiguation via nationality as well as birth year is the more intuitive resolution, Although the two men were indeed born only one day apart, disambiguation via day, month and year of birth feels as a bit of an overreach. —Roman Spinner (talk • contribs) 02:23, 31 August 2021 (UTC)
