As part of the Notability wikiproject, I am trying to sort out whether this topic is notable enough to have its own article. The topic as such seems to be valid; but it might be of marginal interest. I'm not sufficiently familiar with the topic to judge whether it should be kept as a separate article, or maybe merged somewhere else. Opinions are welcome; please add your comments below. --B. I'd never heard of DIMS before (but then I'm not heavily involved in asynchronous logic). However, a quick Google search has left me convinced that the topic is notable enough to be a WP article:

• The textbook Principles of Asynchronous Circuit Design appears to include a section on DIMS.
• Papers such as this and this seem to treat DIMS as a fairly well-established concept in asynchronous design.

The article could probably use some rewriting or expansion to make the notability of the concept a little more clear. --Allan McInnes (talk) 17:51, 23 June 2007 (UTC)
