- There are two stories around so far about David's decision to leave. People think that he left because he didn't like to tour, while others think it was because of the band's frustration of the unfinished album.
There's even another story in which David and Craig would constantly fight while recording for Highly Evolved in the US. So much so that they couldn't stand each other anymore and David then returned back to Australia alone and then came the entry of Hamish. Victoria Eleanor 15:32, 13 December 2006 (UTC)
Nope there was a supposed fight between David on one side and Patrick and the management on the other, because the management seriously wanted David out of the band. It's believed that Craig wanted David to stay. Finally David went/was asked to return to Australia. David wasn't officially out yet. But he was sacked without any kind of confrontation/negotiation whatsoever and then Hamish entered into the picture. Since then David's been angry as hell.
Well this is what i've heard...seems like we'll never ever know the truth...
