Should the article touch on Ava owning Shadman posters? Although more neglected by the general public in comparison to the LavaGS allegations, this was still something major. Faiiwastaken (talk) 06:01, 22 August 2024 (UTC)Reply

For our lead image, which I had previously added and got removed, there is a photo of Kris Tyson in 2023 or 2022 before he went through her gender transition. The photo of Tyson does not reflect her current appearance and is in poor quality. I want consensus to see if we should keep it or not Wcamp9 (talk) 12:48, 7 September 2024 (UTC)Reply
It's not allowed to use a pre-transition photo per MOS:GIDINFO
Yeah, we absolutely can't use a pre-transition photo as the lead image (or the sole image) in any article about a trans person. In fact, it would require a truly exceptional rationale for it to be legitimate to use it anywhere in the article at all. If we can find a more appropriate image then that's great but, if we can't, not having any image is fine. DanielRigal (talk) 23:45, 7 September 2024 (UTC)Reply
