L Catterton → Catterton – The Company recently celebrated its 25th anniversary on October 1st, 2014 and on this date unveiled its re-branding effort, which included a name change from "Catterton Partners" to simply "Catterton." The website, which was also unveiled on this date, can be found here and supports this fact, showing that the Company is only referred to as "Catterton." http://www.catterton.com/AboutUs.html. - Weak support at this point people often quote recentism but I can't see why not to make the change. Gregkaye ✍♪ 18:58, 7 October 2014 (UTC)
- Given that there is already an article at Catterton, perhaps it would be better to include a disambiguation in the title.--Yaksar (let's chat) 19:12, 7 October 2014 (UTC)
- Move to Catterton (company). Not the WP:PRIMARYTOPIC for the word "Catterton" either by usage in reliable sources or long-term significance. 61.10.165.33 (talk) 00:38, 8 October 2014 (UTC)
- Strong oppose Catterton is an article about a different subject. If you wish to delete the parish's article, use WP:AFD. Otherwise, we do not overwrite articles on different subjects using MoveRequests. -- 65.94.171.225 (talk) 03:59, 8 October 2014 (UTC)
- Oppose. The recent change of official name is almost irrelevant according to the policy on which arguments here are supposed to be based. Leave it as is for now. Andrewa (talk) 05:55, 15 October 2014 (UTC)
