• Hi BeanieFan11 (talk); article created 17 February and exceeds minimum length; sources look reliable for the subject; I checked a couple and found no issue with overly close paraphrasing, Earwig is also happy; hook fact in article and checks out to source cited; image is fine and properly licensed, there is one in the article closer to the right time period but not as good. A few queries:
• Death place stated in infobox is not in the main text and is uncited
• Is there meant to be a source for the stats table?
• Awaiting QPQ

  • @WikiOriginal-9: Well, the sources are confusing me a bit. Looking at what I've written (and I looked through all their yearbooks), I see basketball championships in '28, '30, '32 and '33 (4 ≠ 5) and then, in football the records added by Jweiss include three championships, but, while those three were all correct, the 1927 yearbook (p. 99 in issuu) says they won a fourth while going undefeated in conference play in 1926, which the coaching table contradicts.       • @WikiOriginal-9: Basketball was at least '28, '30, '32 and '33 (4, but sources say 5), and then football was '28, '30 and '34 with the yearbook claiming '26 as well. BeanieFan11 (talk) 01:22, 27 October 2023 (UTC)

• "Central College (now Central Methodist) Hall of Fame" remove now central methodist, already said that earlier  Done

• why does his playing spans in the infobox just say circa 1911, don't know the dates?  Done
  • Haven't found the exact dates, only know that he was there in 1911.
• i guess you didn't see his high school in your research?  Done
  • Wasn't able to - his early life seemed pretty obscure.
• in the infobox it says he coached baseball at central in circa 1930 but he was already coaching there earlier in the article  Done
  • Added c. 1914 to infobox.
• in regards to his first stint as central track coach, do you not know if he was coach the whole time like football? Is that why it says circa 1916?  Done
  • Yes, I haven't found that he coached there every year so I said c. 1916.

GA

@WikiOriginal-9: Was thinking about trying to get this to GA again. I was able to figure out the issue of the fourth conference football championship (Westminster was initially champion, but later forfeited). Not sure about what to do with basketball on whether it was four championships versus five. Thoughts? BeanieFan11 (talk) 19:52, 22 August 2024 (UTC)
