Allied victory

edit

The "Iraqi" is first of all ambiguous as it is not clear whether one is referring to the Iraqi government the militias or some other entity/entities. Besides it is superfluous as the Iraqi side is part of the allies anyway. Further more to say "...and allies" implies that the Iranians and the US and UK are allies which is absurd. Conclusion: Do not change the result section of the battle. Thank you. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Parsa1993 (talkcontribs) 18:48, 8 March 2015

Casualties

edit

I was wondering why the causality numbers are changed so much? The numbers used at the moment are extremely unlikely to be correct. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 109.74.184.26 (talk) 11:50, 2 December 2015 (UTC)Reply

Hello fellow Wikipedians,

I have just added archive links to 8 external links on Battle of Baiji (2014–15). Please take a moment to review my edit. You may add {{cbignore}} after the link to keep me from modifying it, if I keep adding bad data, but formatting bugs should be reported instead. Alternatively, you can add {{nobots|deny=InternetArchiveBot}} to keep me off the page altogether, but should be used as a last resort. I made the following changes:

When you have finished reviewing my changes, please set the checked parameter below to true or failed to let others know (documentation at {{Sourcecheck}}).

Merger discussion

edit

Request received to merge articles: Battle of Baiji (2014) into Battle of Baiji (2014–2015); dated: {December/2020}. Proposer's Rationale: {The first battle between iraqi forces and ISIL was only 2 days away from the second battle between the same belligerents which makes no sense to create separate articles about, since battles such as the Battle of Mosul (2016–17) have also had pauses yet all operations are included within one article.}. Discuss here. Ridax2020 (talk) 10:21, 16 December 2020 (UTC)Reply
