Move to EU Banking Union

edit

Banking Union should contain information on what a banking union would be in general, with some explanation of specific examples. I don't know if other banking unions exist, but it seems inappropriate to use the general topic name for a specific instance, just as we would not make the "Currency union" page be specifically about the euro.98.207.36.142 (talk) 19:38, 6 January 2015 (UTC)Reply

I'd not oppose such a move if a general concept article existed, but in the absence of such an article I don't think it is helpful to add unnecessary disambiguation to the title. TDL (talk) 19:59, 6 January 2015 (UTC)Reply
You might be right about the disambiguation being unnecessary. I looked into it further, and I can't find any other banking unions. It looks so far like a general concept article based on the "Currency union" page would not contain much content, and so is perhaps not worth creating.98.207.36.142 (talk) 18:27, 7 January 2015 (UTC)Reply

Participation

edit

In that section it is said that countries participating in Bank Union will have a seat in ECB. The ECB makes mostly decision which deal with Euro. Do non-Euro-countries now have a vote in Euro-related decisions? Or are they excluded if they are not affected by it? --2A02:908:C31:B780:8157:840D:4C4E:6152 (talk) 16:31, 1 September 2018 (UTC)Reply

Capital Markets Union

edit

Hello, we have a project to write an article on the "Capital Markets Union" of the European Union. It turns out that when we search for it, it redirects to the page entitled Economy of the European Union. Given the fact that there is an already existing article on the EMU and one on the Banking Union, we find it relevant to create one separate article about the CMU project and for that we need to create consensus in talk page of the Talk:Economy_of_the_European_Union. The link to the draft is here: Draft:Capital_Markets_Union if you wanna check that out. If you can go to the talk page of the Economy of the European Union and express your views, I would be very grateful. Thank you a lot.--JoaoPillon (talk) 19:59, 25 March 2020 (UTC)Reply
