Rename
editThis article should probably be renamed to Battle of Kure, as several sources including Conways refer to it as such. It also technically was the last battle between aircraft carriers.XavierGreen (talk) 00:19, 19 July 2011 (UTC)
- While I agree that the article name isn't very good, I haven't seen that term used. It's also a bit confusing as Kure was the subject of several major aircraft carrier and B-29 bomber raids. I was thinking of moving it to Attacks on Kure and the Inland Sea or similar, which also reflects what this was called in sources and is more accurate given that many of the air strikes were on locations in the general area (notably, the British were focused on Osaka). Meaningless statement
