Hello fellow Wikipedians,

I have just added archive links to one external link on Agenda (Sky News Australia). Please take a moment to review my edit. You may add {{cbignore}} after the link to keep me from modifying it, if I keep adding bad data, but formatting bugs should be reported instead. Alternatively, you can add {{nobots|deny=InternetArchiveBot}} to keep me off the page altogether, but should be used as a last resort. I made the following changes:

Requested move 2 August 2018

edit
The following is a closed discussion of a requested move. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section on the talk page. Editors desiring to contest the closing decision should consider a move review. No further edits should be made to this section.

The result of the move request was: consensus to move the page to Agenda (Australian TV program) at this time, per the discussion below. Dekimasuよ! 21:45, 13 August 2018 (UTC)Reply

Agenda (Sky News Australia)Agenda (Australian TV series) – Currently incorrectly disambiguated under WP:NCTV. Because this is described as "...a series of Australian television news and commentary programs..." (emphasis mine), it seems more appropriate to move this to Agenda (Australian TV series) rather than Agenda (Australian TV program) (though I have no prejudice against moving to the latter option, if that's the consensus of this RM discussion...). For other TV programs with this title, please see Agenda#Media. --IJBall (contribstalk) 17:05, 2 August 2018 (UTC)--Relisting. Dekimasuよ! 18:25, 9 August 2018 (UTC)Reply

I hate that I don't know of a phrase that describes a series of related TV series/programs as easily as "film series" describes a series of related films. Might this be a franchise? The franchise being "Agenda" and "AM Agenda" being one of its TV programs? --Gonnym (talk) 20:54, 2 August 2018 (UTC)Reply
"Franchise" is generally used when it's "across different media" (i.e. more than just television). I don't think there's a need to overthink this – Agenda (Australian TV series) or Agenda (Australian TV program) should be fine here. Editors just need to pick one. --IJBall (contribstalk) 20:59, 2 August 2018 (UTC)Reply
But it's not really a TV series or TV program - its a series of TV programs sharing the "Agenda" branding (and maybe other things, but I don't have a clue what those are). BTW, I'll point to Bigg Boss (franchise) which is a franchise of different TV (format) shows. While they are hugely different than Agenda and I'm not comparing, I'm just pointing that franchise does not only mean more than TV. --Gonnym (talk) 21:07, 2 August 2018 (UTC)Reply
@IJBall: I think I created this article a while back (just checked history and I did), so that's my poor naming choice. The problem here is there were a number of programs on the channel that shared a similar format and named "Agenda" plus a relevant time of day (AM Agenda in the morning, PM Agenda in the afternoon, and so on) but each wasn't notable on its own, so I created an 'umbrella article' for all of them. Being a news program that tackles issues of the day, some of which may be related to issues of yesterday, but not continuing a storyline or topic as such, I think "(Australian TV program)" is better -- Whats new?(talk) 05:19, 3 August 2018 (UTC)Reply
Not that I know if these are better disambiguations, but The Eleventh Hour (branding) and NewsWatch (branding) have a similar situation. --Gonnym (talk) 06:16, 8 August 2018 (UTC)Reply
As we've not had a formal discussion in WT:NCTV about that, nor a formal "mass move" to test if that's an OK disambiguator, I'd oppose that as a solution right now. It may be that, if this one is closed as "no consensus", we'll have to do all of those in a "mass move" of all of those ones, and this one, to test to see if there's support for disambiguating this way. Or hold an RfC in WT:NCTV... --IJBall (contribstalk) 15:38, 8 August 2018 (UTC)Reply
I think this article can just be moved to (Australian TV program) rather than branding. Agenda is a little different to the NewsWatch (branding) example. -- Whats new?(talk) 06:35, 9 August 2018 (UTC)Reply
I'm coming around to agreeing that Agenda (Australian TV program) is probably the best option here. This one will probably be relisted, and then hopefully people will actually start !voting for their preferences. --IJBall (contribstalk) 16:39, 9 August 2018 (UTC)Reply
