Aaron Johnson (disambiguation) → Aaron Johnson – The current target of Aaron Johnson, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, seems to be referred more commonly these days by their current name to a point where they seem to not be the primary target for the subject's former name anymore. In fact, per recent pageviews, the term "Aaron Johnson" seems to be most associated with ~~Aaron Johnson (writer)~~ Aaron Johnson (musician), but not enough to be the primary topic for "Aaron Johnson". For these reasons, the disambiguation page should be sitting at the ambiguous title since there is no primary topic for this term. Steel1943 (talk) 15:56, 4 August 2019 (UTC)Reply

Seems fair enough, although I'd posit that Aaron Johnson (musician) challenges the primary topic more than Aaron Johnson (writer), which, unless I'm missing something, seems like a lowly viewed typo redirect to someone that isn't even named Aaron Johnson. Oppose. This RM seems to to based on a false premise. Yes, he is primarily known by his current name, but in no way does that mean he's not in contention for primacy at the other name. He utterly dominates Google results for the term Aaron Johnson, and also dominates page views by a vast amount over the other entries on the dab page. In short, he is still the primary topic by common usage and long-term significance. It would not serve readers well to move this. — Amakuru (talk) 07:08, 14 August 2019 (UTC)Reply
