Team logos in each box score?

edit

I held back from immediately reverting this, because I admit it looks pretty cool. That said, I don't know of any other article in the encyclopedia where this is done. I have seen country flags for international competitions (and even state flags for the U.S. Open cup), but team logos seems a bit gratuitous. Anyone else have an opinion? --SkotyWATalk|Contribs 03:26, 29 October 2009 (UTC)Reply

I added them after playing around in the sandbox. I thought it would be a good substitute from the flags used in other competitions and it added some character to the section. If it is not liked or again some wiki policy I understand. I just thought it was a nice addition and possibly a new trend. Dgreco (talk) 12:22, 29 October 2009 (UTC)Reply
Actually, after thinking about it last night, this violates the non-free use rationale for the team logos. These images are protected by trade mark and copyright. If you click on any of them, you'll see that they're only fit to be used once on the team articles themselves. Again, I think this looks really cool, but I sort of knew it was a little too cool to be legit. I'm reverting it. Sorry. --SkotyWATalk|Contribs 16:24, 29 October 2009 (UTC)Reply
This is beyond my ability, but is there a way to make the logos link to the team articles? Would that get around fair use? Personally, I think it looks so handsome it should be the standard for all tournament articles, but if it's illegal, what can you do?Khan_singh (talk) 22:58, 29 October 2009 (UTC)Reply

24 hour time

edit

why was it changed to 24 hour time? 12 hour time is much more common in the US and is standard... Dgreco (talk) 21:34, 2 November 2009 (UTC)Reply

On the team season pages we've always used 24 hour times, but I left this page alone because it's not a big deal to me either way. Some IP editor switched them up. Just switch them back if you want it the other way. Another thing that I tried to tweak in this article was to list the home teams first as is also done in the team season articles. It was reverted, and I just chose to leave it be. My preference would be for 24 hour times, and home team listed first, but I'm not going to argue strongly for either. --SkotyWATalk|Contribs 03:54, 3 November 2009 (UTC)Reply
