Notability

edit

I created this page because WP:CRYSTAL no longer applies, as the album has been released and according to WP:NALBUMS "In general, if the musician or ensemble that recorded an album is considered notable, then officially released albums may have sufficient notability to have individual articles on Wikipedia." I see no reason why this general guideline wouldn't apply in this case. In any circumstance I intend to add more to this page later tonight. Cyko149 (talk) 15:18, 10 November 2009 (UTC)Reply

That particular part of WP:NALBUMS doesn't apply in this case, this is an EP, not an album. Notability will need to be established by significant third party coverage. Rehevkor 15:23, 10 November 2009 (UTC)Reply
I agree with Rehevkor. Also the "in general" part of the statement at WP:NALBUMS is significant. We still need to establish notability because notability is not inherited. That said, the EP now appears to be being discussed by reliable sources[1]. Whether those articles cover the EP in enough detail to satisfy WP:N and WP:NALBUMS remains to be seen, which is why I'm not pushing for another AfD yet. --JD554 (talk) 15:51, 10 November 2009 (UTC)Reply

Article/EP name

edit

The title of this article is currently "C" Is for (Please Insert Sophomoric Genitalia Reference Here) whilst the opening paragraph calls it "C" is For (Please Insert Sophomoric Genitalia Reference HERE). Notice the differences in capitalization and use of italics. A quick search shows that the correct title should be "C" is for (Please Insert Sophomoric Genitalia Reference HERE). The mistake seems to have been copied from Amazon, iTunes and other sites, which (incorrectly) use Is and here. The use of For is a mystery. At the very least the use of capitals should be consistent and the title should be italicized. nagualdesign (talk) 00:58, 4 May 2012 (UTC)Reply

Changed all instances to "C" is for (Please Insert Sophomoric Genitalia Reference HERE), as well as moving the page. nagualdesign (talk) 05:27, 14 December 2013 (UTC)Reply
