Sudhanshu Pandey

Sudhanshu Pandey (born 22 August 1974) is an Indian model, film and television actor, singer, writer and producer. He has appeared in many films, in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu languages in his career.

Career

Pandey Started his career with modeling in the early 90's. His debut television show was Kanyadaan, aired in 1998. His debutant movie was Khiladi 420 as co-lead with Akshay Kumar. In 1999 Pandey featured in one of the songs, Maikhane se Sharab se from Pankaj Udhas 's Album Mahek. Then, he become part of India's first ever music band A Band of Boys. Later in 2005 Pandey opted out of the band as he needed to settle down financially.[2]

Pandey also regularly appeared in Tamil cinema throughout the 2010s, and first portrayed the main villain in Billa II (2012) starring Ajith Kumar. He later followed that up with roles in Meaghamann (2014), Indrajith (2017) and 2.0 (2018), the most expensive Indian film at the time of its release.[3][4]

Pandey has a production house, named Raw Stock Production Private Limited under which he had produced a music video his first single Teri Adaa in 2018 in which he was a lyricist also, as well as a short film named Fitrat in 2021, along with Tahir Baig, his second home production.

Since 2020, he has been portrayed Vanraj Shah in Anupamaa, which has popularized him among the Hindi-speaking audience.[5][6] However he quit the series in August 2024 after four years.[7][8] In 2022, he reprised his role of Vanraj Shah in Anupamaa's eleven-episode prequel web series Anupama: Namaste America which streams on Disney+ Hotstar.[9]

In 2023, Pandey produced his second solo single, Dil Ki Tu Zameen, starring Madalsa Sharma Chakraborty.[10] In 2024 Sudhanshu Rejoined A Band of Boys.[11]

Personal life

Pandey is married to Mona Pandey and has two sons, Nirvaan and Vivaan Pandey.[12][13]
