Stand Up is the third Korean extended play by South Korean boy group Big Bang, it was released on August 8, 2008.[1] The EP sold over 140,000 copies by the end of the following month,[2] supported by the popularity of the number one hit single "Haru Haru".[3] The song became one of the most downloaded singles of all-time in South Korea. Star News named Stand Up one of the most successful digital albums since 2004.[4]

Teasers for the album was released on August 1, including the announcement that Japanese DJ Daishi Dance had collaborated with the group on a song.[5] Released on August 8, 2008, the EP sold more than 30,000 copies in two days[6] and sold 100,000 copies in two weeks.[7] Stand Up was the number-one album of the month for August 2008, becoming the group's first monthly number-one album in South Korea.[8] It eventually sold over 168,000 copies by 2016.
