Sidi Njie (born 20 February 2007) is an American sprinter.[1]

Early life
editFrom Georgia, he attended Westlake High School in Atlanta.[2]
Career
editIn 2023 he ran the fastest 400m time ever recorded by a high school athlete in Georgia, running 45.46, lowering the record of 45.78 that Will Sumner had set the previous year.[3]
He won the men's 400 meters in a time of 45.62 seconds at the USATF U20 Outdoor Championships at Hayward Field, Eugene, Oregon in June 2024.[4]
He qualified for the final of the 400 metres at the 2024 World Athletics U20 Championships in Lima, Peru.[5] In the final he came away with the bronze medal, running 46.29 seconds.[6]
Personal life
editHis mother Alicia is a former track runner.[7]
